Client Terms & Refund Policy

A plan that meets you right where you are.

Effective July 31, 2026

1. My Service

A planning tool, not professional advice

Your roadmap is built to help you understand your cash flow and, if you're on Premium, plan out debt payoff. It's a cash flow planning tool, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it's not a substitute for talking to a licensed professional if your situation calls for one.

Your plan is only as accurate as what you tell me

I build your roadmap from the numbers you provide. If something's off because of a typo, a missed bill, or information that changed after you submitted, I'm happy to help sort it out, but I can't be responsible for accuracy on numbers I never had.

Your plan reflects a moment in time

Bills change, income changes, life changes. Your roadmap is accurate as of the numbers you gave me on the day you submitted, and it will drift from reality over time. That's what plan regenerations are for.

A projection, not a promise

Your roadmap shows you what's possible based on your numbers. It's not a guarantee that you'll hit a certain savings goal or payoff date by a certain time; life has a way of changing plans.

I might reach out to you directly

If something in your numbers looks like it needs a real conversation rather than just a plan, I'll reach out personally before sending anything over. I'd rather talk it through with you than hand you a PDF that doesn't tell the full story.

You must be 18 or older to purchase a plan.

2. Payment

At this time, plans are paid for via Venmo Business or PayPal Business. The intake form link is available in a few places, so it's possible to come across it and start filling it out before you've paid. That's fine, but your roadmap isn't generated until payment is confirmed. Please include your name and plan (Base or Premium) in your payment note, as well as any add-ons if applicable, so it can be matched to your intake form.

3. Turnaround & Delivery

Turnaround is currently 1–3 business days from the time your intake form is submitted, though it may vary a bit depending on workload volume. Your finished Budget Roadmap PDF is sent to the email address you provided on the form. For your privacy, your delivered PDF is password protected, since it contains real income, bill, and (for Premium) debt detail. The password is included in your delivery email.

4. Follow-Up Questions

Every plan includes a window for follow-up questions after delivery: 2 questions within 30 days for Base plans, and 4 questions within 30 days for Premium plans. Just reply to your delivery email. Additional questions beyond what's included are available for $10 per set of 2.A question about why something in your plan looks the way it does is not an error. That's exactly what your included follow-up questions are for.

5. Refund & Corrections Policy

Every plan is custom-built around your numbers, and the work starts as soon as you submit your intake form, so I'm not able to offer refunds once your form has been submitted. That said, I stand behind the accuracy of what I deliver. If something in your plan is wrong, like a bill or debt assigned to the wrong period, a debt or bill missing from the plan entirely, or a calculation that doesn't match the information you gave me, let me know and I'll fix it and send you a corrected version at no extra cost.If you have a question about why something in your plan looks the way it does, that's not an error, that's exactly what your included follow-up questions are for.

A projection, not a promise

  • A bill or debt assigned to the wrong period.

  • A calculation that doesn't reflect the information you actually gave me.

  • A debt or bill missing from the plan entirely.

  • A math error in the totals.

  • Any other calculation error that can be verified by comparing the plan against the information you submitted on your intake form.

A projection, not a promise

  • Minor cosmetic issues, like a typo, that don't affect the plan's numbers or usefulness.

  • Questions about why the plan looks the way it does — these are handled through your included Follow-Up Questions (Section 3).

  • Changes caused by information that changed after you submitted your form, or that wasn't included on the form at all.

If you paid but never submitted your intake form, no work has begun and a refund is available. Just send an email explaining that.

6. Payment Disputes

If you've received your completed roadmap, filing a payment dispute or chargeback doesn't cancel the agreement you made by submitting your intake form under this policy. I'll respond to any dispute using our correspondence, your intake form submission, and delivery records as evidence that the plan was completed and sent as agreed.
Plans are paid through Venmo Business and PayPal Business. Any dispute, chargeback, or refund request filed through either platform is also subject to that platform's own terms and dispute resolution process, in addition to this policy. I don't control the outcome of a dispute decided directly by Venmo or PayPal.

7. Privacy

Your financial information is used only to build your personalized roadmap. I don't sell it, share it, or use it for any purpose beyond preparing and delivering your plan and responding to your follow-up questions. As an added layer of protection, your delivered PDF is password protected, as described in Section 3.

8. Disclaimer

This plan was prepared using general budgeting and debt-payoff research and methods. It is not personalized financial, legal, or tax advice, and I am not a licensed financial advisor, planner, or credit counselor. Consult a licensed professional before making significant financial decisions.
